Infuriated by the Chinese government, President Trump responded by tweeting.

Starting October 1, it said it will increase tariffs on Chinese products worth $ 250 billion from the current 25 percent to 30 percent.

He also said he will raise tariffs to 15 percent for $ 300 billion worth of Chinese goods, which he predicted will charge 10 percent additional tariffs starting next month.

Complaints about the Chinese government have also been blatantly expressed.

"We don't need China, and frankly, it wouldn't be much better if we didn't have it," he said. "China's making and stealing huge amounts of money every year for decades in the United States will stop."

"We must immediately start looking for alternatives to China," he said. "Including pulling out companies and making products in the United States."

White House staff also warned that China's tariffs would lead to a tough response.

New York markets plunged sharply as market uncertainties grew in response to Trump's hard-line response to China's retaliatory tariffs.
