The yellow line on the Öland Bridge does not go away

The yellow line on the Öland Bridge was painted to share the motorists and competitors during Ironman last Saturday. After the race, the line would go away, but despite several attempts, the line sits like the mountain and refuses to disappear.

The Swedish Transport Administration's project manager Johan Wesley explains that, despite several attempts, the contractor (Svevia) did not remove it. Now it is necessary to go in and try to remove it more mechanically, but then there is the risk that the asphalt will damage.

This weekend, with the help of a machine at night, try to wear away the line. The challenge is to catch up with the other road work on the Öland Bridge that takes place at night time.
