It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Kuibyshev transport prosecutor's office.

“The specified flight returned to Kurumoch international airport at 23.40 (22.40 Moscow time) in connection with a malfunction of the air conditioning system of the cabin,” the department said.

Returning to Samara, the plane flew to St. Petersburg later.

It was previously reported that the plane flying from Samara to St. Petersburg returned to Samara's Kurumoch airport.
