The Kremlin commented on the "refusal" of the Mexican Interjet from the SSJ-100

“We would not draw such conclusions. You know that this machine is more and more operated by domestic airlines, the largest operator is Aeroflot, other companies also fly on these machines, ”he said.

According to him, as these machines become larger, all parameters and characteristics will improve.

“The international aviation market is a very difficult thing, as we know, cars from other manufacturers sell, and do not fly, and land, and so on. Different things happen, and this is not a reason for such far-reaching conclusions, ”he concluded.

Earlier, the Vedomosti newspaper, citing sources close to the UAC and the Ministry of Transport, wrote that the last foreign airline operating the SSJ-100 - Interjet - decided to sell them.

Commenting on these messages, the liner manufacturing company noted that they were not talking about the refusal or refund, but “the issue of partial reallocation of the airline’s fleet” is being worked out.
