For five years now they have been introducing these sanctions, right on the stream, I think they see that these sanctions have not achieved any special results. Earlier, the State Department confirmed the imposition of sanctions in the Skripal case since August 26.
Measures include a ban on lending to the Russian government by American banks, and restrictions on exports from Russia.
