More than five thousand Russians were not allowed into Ukraine since the beginning of the year

This publication "theBabel" said the head of the press service of the GPSU Andrei Demchenko.

“Since the beginning of the year, 944 thousand Russian citizens have entered Ukraine,” the text says.

The head of the press service noted that among the main reasons for the refusal of entry were violations of the rules of entry into the Crimea and Donbass, as well as “exceeding the length of stay in Ukraine during the last visit”.

“Russians and other foreigners who did not pay a fine for exceeding their stay in Ukraine were banned from entering for three years,” Demchenko added.

In May, it was reported that Ukrainian border guards did not allow about 3.3 thousand Russian citizens to enter the country since the beginning of 2019.
