It is noted that "on August 20, three fishermen went on a Mitsubishi MS-25 boat to the specified area and planned to return home on the night of August 21, but have still not returned."
The Ministry of Emergency Situations said that since August 21, the search was conducted by the forces of the regional rescuers KGKU "Data Center for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Fire Safety in the Kamchatka Territory", as well as police officers.
During the search operation, it was possible to find some personal items and wreckage of the boat.
“In total, up to now, an cumulative total of 220 kilometers of water and coastal strip area of 110 square kilometers has been examined,” the Ministry of Emergencies said.
