“The square, located in front of the Government House in Donetsk, will be named after Alexander Zakharchenko,” the Donetsk news agency quoted Pushilin as saying.
He noted that the appropriation of Zakharchenko’s name in Donetsk is “a duty to him.”
Alexander Zakharchenko died on August 31, 2018 during an explosion in a cafe in the center of Donetsk.
In June, the DNR announced the names of those involved in the murder of Zakharchenko.
