Neda Ameli founded the Facebook group Uppsala Gäris two weeks ago, with the aim of increasing the security of women in Uppsala. In a short time, the group has gained over 17,000 members.

She received answers to speeches by, among others, Police Chief Jale Poljarevius, who emphasized that the police and the municipality have cooperated for many years.
"A friend of order can say that we have not succeeded, but it is a long process and not just about going ashore with certain parts," he said.
