FSB stopped the activities of the IG-financing cell in the Kaluga region

“The activity of a religious extremist cell that provided resource support for the Islamic State international terrorist organization was suppressed,” the statement said.

According to the investigation, the group included six natives of the states of the Central Asian region, who complied with the instructions of the militants to support the financing of terrorist activities.

Earlier, FSB officers stopped the activities of a terrorist cell, whose members were planning an attack on a military unit near Vladimir.
