Clear skies will predominate on Saturday, August 24 throughout the Peninsula but Gran Canaria will remain at risk for maximums that can reach 38ºC while the minimum will be 30ºC, according to the prediction of the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).

In addition, El Hierro, Fuerteventura, La Gomera, Lanzarote, La Palma, Tenerife, Badajoz and Cáceres will also be at risk from high temperatures, as in Extremadura.

In the rest of the country, the daytime will go down in Galicia and the Cantabrian. In Balearic and south coast of the Levant there will be cloudy intervals but with low probabilities of weak rainfall. For its part, night temperatures will rise slightly in the northern half of the peninsula.

As for the winds, on the Cantabrian coast there will be wind from the west component and from the east component in the peninsular southeast, with a strong lift in the Strait, easing during the day. In the Canary Islands they will have trade winds with strong intervals.
