Starting August 24, temporary restrictions are imposed on the import into Belarus from live Russian pigs, susceptible species of zoos and circus animals, pork (including wild boar meat) and other food pig raw materials, as well as their processed products, leather, horned and intestinal raw materials, bristles, hunting trophies obtained from animals of susceptible species, other products.

It was also reported that Belarus restricted the import of cattle from the Novosibirsk Region due to infectious nodular dermatitis.

Earlier it was reported that Russia and Belarus tightened control over the import of livestock products from the countries of the European Union in connection with the spread of African swine fever.
