Ambulance did not begin to hospitalize Whelan

The paramedic, after examining in court the American Paul Whelan accused of espionage in Russia, said that he did not need hospitalization.

“He does not need emergency hospitalization,” the physician quoted Interfax as saying.

Earlier it was reported that doctors were summoned to the Lefortovo court of Moscow after Whelan complained of poor health.

At the end of June, the American diplomatic mission sent a note of protest to the Russian Foreign Ministry in connection with the “improper treatment” of Paul Whelan in a pre-trial detention center.
