Earlier this year, Laholm municipality carried out an unauthorized direct procurement of furniture for the school, which will open on Monday. The supplier became the company Input Interiör in Halmstad and the cost landed at SEK 1.2 million. The choice the municipality made was heavily criticized by the competitor AJ products.

In early August, the purchase of furniture was annulled by the Administrative Court in Falun, which means that the furniture must be returned.

Get ten days

AJ products, which ended up outside the procurement, are now taking a fight and come with a claim for damages. Through their lawyer they now demand SEK 460,000 from the municipality. The reasons listed are, among other things, no gain on furniture delivery, attorney's fees and time spent in connection with bidding.

The lawyer also writes that if the municipality does not pay or makes any objections within a ten-day period, he will take legal action.
