Zelensky wrote on Facebook that the “return” of Crimea, the settlement of the conflict in the Donbass and the release of the detained sailors would be “a real serious signal to the world that Russia is ready to once again take its place on the agenda of high diplomacy”.
“About the signals. They are expected from you. And not in social networks, but in reality, ”said Zakharova.
She emphasized that if “high diplomacy” meant international platforms, then at the highest of them - the UN Security Council - Russia is involved in shaping the agenda and implementing world politics.
The diplomat also recalled that the Ukrainian side is obliged to implement the Minsk agreements, which were supported by a resolution of the Security Council.
Earlier, American leader Donald Trump said he supported the return of Russia to the G8. His French counterpart Emmanuel Macron also called this perspective appropriate.
