Early Thursday morning, SVT's reporter makes the discovery of the suspected crime scene. She alerts the police who are coming.

- I just happened to stumble upon the knife when looking for the place where they found the guy. The police took it with gloves and put it in some sort of seizure bag. Then they called on duty investigative leaders, says SVT reporter Lotta Sandhammar.

The preliminary investigator leads the investigation into the man at the age of 25 who was hit by several shots during the evening in Gottsunda - and who was taken to hospital. That incident is classified as attempted murder, and there is currently no suspected arrest.

- They found that they did not believe the knife had anything to do with the shooting on Wednesday night. I don't know what they base it on, says Lotta Sandhammar.

How it turned out that the police who worked in the area during the night could not find the knife, the police patrol on the spot could not answer.

At 8.45 am, the police are still at the scene, and a police dog should search the scene. Police said it had to do with the preliminary investigation into the shooting.
