“It was established that the owners of the sites posted personal data of users of social networks, which at the time of consideration of the complaints of citizens by Roskomnadzor were deleted or were irrelevant. Moreover, under the terms of offenders, the removal of such information was possible only for a fee, ”the agency said in a statement.
The message notes that the site administration also did not have information confirming that they had the consent of citizens to the processing of their personal data.
It is clarified that violations were discovered on 18 Internet resources.
Earlier, Roskomnadzor blocked two sites in Russia containing offensive content addressed to the Russian anthem.
