The landowners, Jokkmokk's general, have previously requested removal assistance from the police. On Wednesday, a police patrol went to the scene of a check. When SVT visited the camp on August 14, an estimated 1,000 people were present. When the police patrol visited yesterday, there were about 200 people left, who were cleaning up the site to later move to another campsite where they are allowed to be.

The camp participants came in July

Participants from Rainbow Gathering have been in Jokkmokk since the last week in July and plan to stay a week into September. According to the landowner, the camp does not have a permit, so a police report was made. Jokkmokk's community have previously been themselves and asked them to move, but they should not have bothered about what the landowner said.
