Ikea's staff vacated the entire department store.
- I had bought a kitchen and would pay some other stuff at the checkout. Suddenly, people attacked and came a lot of fire trucks, says Håkan Pettersson from Nynäshamn who was in the department store when it started to burn.
No person needed careNeither Ikea employee nor any customer received injuries that required hospital care.
- We called an ambulance because some employees got smoke inside, but they were okay, says Jon Egerlid at Ikea.
At 15 o'clock the message came that the fire was extinguished.
- But we do not know if we will open the department store for customers again today, says Jon Egerlind, Ikea.
