The election of Emmanuel Macron had somewhat forgotten this habit of the "old world". But this year, summer universities are once again on the rise. A few months before the municipal elections, all the parties are mobilizing, even the Republic on the march.

After cataloging the summer schools in the rubric of the old world, the Republic on the move (LaRem), changed its tune and finally sacrificed to the ritual of the return to politics. The party of Emmanuel Macron organizes early September in Bordeaux, a Jewish stronghold, its first summer schools.

They will have another name, of course, a "campus of the territories" but it is still a militant and political rally to weld the troops in a movement that is still struggling to organize.

The municipal campaign begins

An innovation for LaRem, a return to the symbolic sources for the Socialist Party (PS), in free fall since 2017. The party is trying to revive the machine by inviting this weekend as the good old days, elected and activists to meet at La Rochelle. A traditional meeting of the great hours of the PS abandoned since 2015.

Republicans too, the summer universities of La Baule, end of August, make this year figure of rendezvous. As proof, the three candidates for the estate of Laurent Wauquiez will be present.

The communists will be in Angers. In Toulouse, ecologists and rebels also want to take advantage of these summer schools to remember the good memories of the French. The summer break is over and the municipal campaign begins.
