It was yesterday that SVT News Gävleborg reported about the police tested positive for amphetamine during a rave at Dragon Gate this summer. The police, who have a managerial job with the Police Authority in Gävleborg, were not in service and were recognized by colleagues. According to them, the police chief must have been both nervous and jerky.

"I get nervous about cops," said the suspected police himself in connection with a questioning.

Per Ågren, police area manager in Gävleborg, wants to get more involved in the case and await a possible conviction but notes:

- It is completely incompatible with the police job to be suspected of a drug crime, says Per Ågren.

The prosecuted police are not taken out of service because the person is on sick leave, and any dismissal is not something that a police area manager decides.

Visited criminal at night

This is not the first time the chief of police gets into the brink of justice. Recently, a charge of illegal data breach was also brought, something Arbetarbladet was the first to tell.

According to the prosecution, which SVT Nyheter has taken note of, the police chief has made five unjustified blows in the police's IT system on different persons. The police chief has admitted crime in two of the cases.

- It's the same thing there. The rules are there to be followed. Then there are certainly times when one can, as a human being, make a mistake without having an evil intention. In this case, I do not know how many blows it is about, says Per Ågren.

The prosecution also states that the police investigator's own investigator saw the accused police officer of a known criminal person at night - the same person on whom the police chief struck.

According to the investigative report, the police chief must have stayed in the apartment for 45 minutes. What went on inside is unclear but in the report, which is entitled "Police visiting criminal" it appears that the police who authored the report recently conducted a house search in the apartment in question.

During questioning, the police chief confirms contacts with criminals:

Interrogator: As I understand it, have you still had some socializing with criminally charged?

Police Chief: Yes, you must say that.

"Can't have views on who you fall in love with"

Per Ågren also confirms the information about the police chief's criminal conduct for SVT News.

- We are neither blind nor deaf to the police, it is clear that there is information on such things with us. But it is difficult to set a limit on what one gets and cannot do privately as a police officer. But everyone understands that it is not good for the police's confidence if you spend time with criminals. But I can't have any views on who you fall in love with, he says.
