NASA = American Aeronautics and Space Administration posted a satellite photo of the Amazon rainforest where forest fires are taking place from space in Twitter's official account.

The photo was taken by NASA's meteorological satellite on the 20th and captures the spread of white smoke across multiple Brazilian states.

NASA points out, “It is not uncommon for Brazil to have a fire at this time due to high temperatures and drying, but the number of fires in the past may be record”.
