Three ambulances, police and rescue services are on site at Gärdsås square in Bergsjön in Gothenburg.

According to the alarm, there was a loud bang in the square with subsequent smoke development.

Damage to the facade

Police and emergency services are sent to the scene. The explosion occurred in connection with a booth in the square, which suffered damage to the facade.

The location has been blocked off, which also affects a stop next to the public transport square.

- We have seven firefighters there, but we cannot see any major damage on the site, says Johan Eklund alarm and command operator at the rescue service Greater Gothenburg.

There is no evidence that the incident resulted in any personal injury.

A preliminary investigation into general careless negligence has been initiated.
