It's a topic for couples who celebrate their wedding anniversary in a unique way.

Foreign media, including Fox News, told the story of a couple of Cowburns in Pennsylvania.

In 1970, Anne and David joined the couple. They have been married for a long time since then, creating a little unusual tradition. Freeze the three-tier cake used at the wedding, and take out a little every wedding anniversary.

My husband, David, said, "I watched a story about a couple who had been eating wedding cakes for 25 years on a TV program, and I remembered the idea."
Some have seen their tradition in a negative light. Is there a hygiene problem for a cake that is about 50 years old? Fortunately, the couple said, "I have never been sick with a cake yet."

Rather, the couple was worried about something else. After half a century sharing culture cakes, there was very little left over.

Eventually, Anne and David said, "We decided to continue the tradition by baking the last piece of crumb together in a 50th anniversary cake."
