Xinhua quoted local police as three Koreans were killed in a car crashing a train in Hungary.

Police said the Koreans were killed in a car crash between Warsaw and Budapest in Kismorrosi in northern Hungary last evening.

The police said in a statement, "the vehicle ran on the track and crashed into the train with a red light."

The incident occurred less than three months after a cruise ship disaster killed a Korean tourist in Hungary on May 29.

Earlier, the cruise ship Hubbleani hit the cruise ship Viking Sigin on the Danube River in Budapest and sunk, killing 25 Korean tourists and missing one.
