The talks included talks about Japan's export restrictions on South Korea, the Korea-Japan military information security agreement, and the extension of Jisomia three days before the expiration date.

Mr. Kang is reported to have pointed out the unfairness of Japan's export control measures and urged the withdrawal of the goods.

The three-party talks held earlier this morning agreed that trilateral cooperation should not be affected by bilateral relations, and agreed to make common efforts to prepare for the trilateral summit and denuclearize the Korean peninsula this year.

Host Foreign Minister Wang Lee said he hopes both sides will consider each other's concerns and constructively resolve the conflict.

Kang emphasized that trilateral cooperation should face history and rule out arbitrary trade measures, while Mr. Kono only mentioned strengthening trilateral cooperation without mentioning historical issues.
