At 15 o'clock on Wednesday, the message came that Hanif Bali was dismissed from his duties as alternate member of the Labor Market Committee and the EU Committee. The reason was a series of tweets in which the moderate MP criticized the former Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Carl Bildt.

On Facebook, Hanif Bali now apologizes:

“Today, the Moderates Parliamentary Group held a meeting where they jointly decided to take away my positions in the Labor Market Committee and the EU Committee. There has been harsh criticism from me from party mates and my intent has been questioned and it obviously hurts me deeply, ”he writes.

Hanif Bali continues:

“Criticism of previously conducted politics, no matter how popular the former politician has been, is important for course correcting a party. On the other hand, it must be done with tact and fingertip feeling. That I have failed in this is obvious. I apologize to Carl Bildt for how I formulated myself ”.
