According to NBC News, Fredericksen expressed "surprise and regret" in connection with the cancellation of the September visit of Trump to the country.
She also emphasized that Greenland is not subject to sale by the Danish kingdom.
Earlier, Trump said that he postponed a meeting with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen because of her unwillingness to discuss the sale of Greenland. Fredericksen called Trump's idea absurd.
