General Abdul Fattah al-Burhan was sworn in as president of Sudan's sovereignty council on Wednesday.

The spokesman for the Sudan Transitional Military Council Shams al-Din Kabashi announced the issuance of a decree to form a council headed by proof, in the framework of the implementation of what has been agreed on the transition in the country.

The Council is composed of eleven members, including six civilians and five military personnel. The proof will be headed by the proof for the first 21 months, while Madani will rule for the remaining 18 months of the transition period, which will last thirty-nine months.

The council was formed by General Mohamed Hamdan Daglo (Humaidati), General Shamseddine Kabashi, General Yasser Al Atta, Major General Ibrahim Jaber, Hassan Sheikh Idris, Mohammed Al Faki Suleiman, Mohammed Hassan Al Taishi, Siddiq Tower Cafe, Aisha Mousa and Raja Nikola Abd Jesus.

Last Saturday, the junta and the forces of change signed the "Constitutional Declaration" and "Political Declaration" documents on power-sharing structures in the interim period.

The structures of power during the transitional period comprise three councils: the Council of Ministers, the Legislative Council and the Sovereignty Council, which will consist of 11 members, six civilians and five military personnel. He will be headed by a military for the first 21 months, while a civilian will rule for the remaining 18 months.
