A bar manager was killed in the night of Tuesday to Wednesday in Seine-Saint-Denis after refusing to serve a drunk client, a few days after the death of a server shot in the same department for delaying to prepare a sandwich we have learned from concordant sources.

According to a source close to the investigation, two people showed up around 00:30 in this bar in downtown Saint-Denis, the café of the place. In front of their intoxication, the bar manager refused to serve them.

They were all three out of the bar and one of the drunken men punched him. The victim, 66, falls, gets up and goes back inside the bar before collapsing again. His death was noticed half an hour later.

The Bobigny public prosecutor's office opened an investigation for violence that resulted in death without any intention of giving it.

A man was arrested, but injured, he had to be hospitalized Wednesday early afternoon. His custody was lifted.

"Refusing to serve a customer intoxicated, it is doing its job properly, no one should be attacked for it," said the town hall of Saint-Denis in a statement.

On the night of Friday to Saturday, it was the waiter of a restaurant of Noisy-le-Grand who had been shot by a customer who considered that his sandwich was not prepared fast enough. The perpetrator is still on the run and actively sought after.
