The initiative makes the buzz on social networks and in cities. The "Clean challenge" launched in late July by the association "Hope and creation" Garges-lès-Gonesse extends to many cities in the Ile-de-France and province. It's about cleaning up your city and then naming another city to do the same.

The district of Les Fossés-Jean in Colombes participated in the challenge on Tuesday, August 20th, for the fifth time since the beginning of the month. Cans, butts, plastic ... all kinds of rubbish were collected. Many young people, members of the association Jeun'Espoir de Colombes, accompanied by residents of the neighborhood, played the game armed with garbage bags and garbage clips. In total, more than 20 bags of garbage were collected.

The "Clean Challenge" is exported even beyond the Hexagon. In Algeria, a municipality also took up the challenge. Named by the young people of Colombes, the city of Brussels could be next on the list.
