SVT has been in contact with several travelers who tell similar stories about the company that, among other things, operates Jönköping.

Already in February, SVT's Plus stated that the German bus company Flixbus has received many notifications against both the Consumer Agency and the General Complaints Board. Last year, a total of eleven applications were submitted to the Swedish Consumer Agency. So far this year, there have been more than three times as many.

Anneli Rönneke lives in Jönköping but has commuted to work as a nurse in Oslo for several years. She is often delayed for work and problems started last year when Flixbus took over after Swebus.

- They are not customer friendly. It is not possible to book places so people crowd. The drivers are not pleasant and it does not feel safe.

Negative with dissatisfied customers

At the station in Jönköping, we meet several travelers on Wednesday to take the bus to Stockholm. There, nobody has experienced problems with Flixbus, but the driver Carl-Johan Dahlin is well aware that the reports against the company have increased.

- I was told by some friends today. There is nothing that we have talked about within the company but it is of course boring, he says.

- You want customers to be satisfied. It is not good if we get a bad reputation.

Flixbus answers in writing

SVT News has sought representatives from Flixbus who say that they have no opportunity to interview at the moment. However, they have sent comments via email.

“We take all feedback, whether it is positive or negative, most seriously and work to improve our service every day. We comply with all regulations, both local and EU level. Our terms and conditions describe the options for repayment and alternatives.

Our drivers are our face out and often the only direct contact with our customers. All drivers receive specific training before they can drive our buses. With 7,000 drivers it can sometimes happen that someone does not follow our instructions and then we take action. ”
