Two Ukrainian sailors from a ship off the coast of Taman died from poisoning
Two people died as a result of methyl alcohol poisoning on board a tanker in the Black Sea, the Rosmorrechflot press service told Interfax.
As specified, the message to the Naval Rescue and Coordination Center Novorossiysk from the captain of the ship "Magus" (Panama flag) arrived on the night of Tuesday, August 20. It was clarified that on board the tanker were two people with signs of methyl alcohol poisoning.
“One of them died, the other in a coma. “Derzky” rescue tug was sent to bring the victim ashore, but the man died during transportation, ”the press service said.
It is noted that both victims are citizens of Ukraine.
