As specified, the message to the Naval Rescue and Coordination Center Novorossiysk from the captain of the ship "Magus" (Panama flag) arrived on the night of Tuesday, August 20. It was clarified that on board the tanker were two people with signs of methyl alcohol poisoning.
“One of them died, the other in a coma. “Derzky” rescue tug was sent to bring the victim ashore, but the man died during transportation, ”the press service said.
It is noted that both victims are citizens of Ukraine.
