This is what Skånska Dagbladet writes on Tuesday. According to the newspaper, Svenska kraftnät found a number of errors when they tested the link. These are badly repaired cables, which have caused so-called splice errors.

According to Skånskan, the power company has agreed with the cable supplier to exchange over 500 joints between Värnamo and Hurva. Work on the joints will start in October later this fall.

The southwest link is a 430 kilometer long high voltage line that runs between the two drive stations in Hallsberg in Närke and Hurvastationen in Lyby in Skåne.

The stations are scheduled to be operational later this winter.

The south-west link is the largest investment in electricity supply in southern Sweden since the construction of the Swedish nuclear power plants in the 1970s and has since the start in 2012 cost SEK 7.3 billion so far.

SVT has applied to Svenska kraftnät for a comment.
