The court extended the arrest of Atambayev
The court decided to keep the former president of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev in custody until October 26. This was told by lawyer Sergei Slesarev.
According to TASS, the court’s retreat was held in the building of the State Committee for National Security of the country, the former president has been in the pre-trial detention center since August 8.
Earlier, Atambayev was ordered to be arrested for a term of up to August 26 by court order. He was detained on August 8.
Later, Zamir Beishekeev, the head of the department of the Prosecutor General’s Office for the Supervision of Investigative Investigation and Investigation, said that Atambayev was charged with murder and a number of other especially serious crimes.
