Now the huge valley horse in Avesta is being renovated
The huge valley horse, which stands next to the national road at a resting place in Avesta, is now being refurbished, having been torn by weather and wind and several times on its way to crack.
The horse was built in 1989 and is named the world's largest valley horse.
- It is 13 meters high, 12, 8 meters wide and weighs 66, 7 tons, says Kerstin Eriksson, business developer at Avesta municipality.
After the municipality took over the horse from a Danish real estate company in the autumn, it was decided that it would be renovated.
