“The embassy received official confirmation from the Luxembourg authorities that there were no casualties as a result of the emergency landing, the consular officer of the embassy is already working at the airport,” the representative of the TASS diplomatic mission quotes.

It is expected that passengers will soon be sent to Paris by another flight.

Earlier it became known that the Air France plane flying from Moscow to Paris urgently landed in Luxembourg as a precaution after turning on the warning related to the braking system.

On the morning of August 15, the Ural Airlines Airbus A321, flying from Moscow to Simferopol, soon after takeoff made an emergency landing near the Zhukovsky airport in a cornfield after both engines failed, presumably due to a flock of seagulls.

The Honored Pilot of Russia Konstantin Onokhin, in an interview with the FAN, noted that the commander of A321, due to the unstable operation of the engines, could not make an approach to the departure aerodrome or to the alternate aerodrome and made the right decision to land the aircraft in front of him.
