Kashmir issue sued at the International Court of Justice Pakistan Foreign Minister August 21, 7:28

Pakistan's Foreign Minister Klesi, who is contending for local sovereignty, after the removal of the autonomy of the Kashmir province that India has acknowledged so far, will enter into the proceedings for an appeal to the International Court of Justice I made it.

India and Pakistan have been competing for sovereignty over the Kashmir region for many years, but the Indian government abolished the autonomy of Jammu and Kashmir province, which is in effect, and the Pakistan government promptly abolished it. I am appealing to cancel.

Under such circumstances, Pakistani Foreign Minister Kuresh said on the 20th in response to an interview with a local television station, "We have solidified our policy to bring the Kashmir issue to the International Court of Justice," making the issue of territorial rights an international law issue. It was made clear that they would go into the proceedings to appeal to the International Court of Justice in order to settle peacefully.

On the issue of Kashmir, an informal emergency meeting was held at the United Nations Security Council at the request of Pakistan on 16th of this month, but no clear conclusion was reached.

Pakistan believes that India's measures are unilateral and illegal, and it seems that there is an aim to increase international pressure on India by bringing this issue to the International Court of Justice.
