Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo admitted that his son Jr. was shocked and unbelievable when he took him to his old residence before his rise to stardom and pounds of money, and showed him the difficult circumstances in which he lived adolescence.

The 34-year-old left Juventus at his home in Madeira at the age of 12 to fulfill his ambitions to become a professional player and stayed in Lisbon with his best friend, Miguel Baixao.

The former Manchester United star and Real Madrid decided to teach his 9-year-old son a practical lesson in life, taking him to visit the room where he lived in the harsh conditions his son never knew.

"They think everything comes easily. Quality of life, homes, cars and clothes ... That's what I try to instill in my son. I teach him that talent alone will not buy him these things, but hard work and dedication will achieve your dreams."
