The Trump family has grown, with the US president becoming grandfather for the tenth time, his son Eric having announced Monday night that his wife had given birth to a baby girl.
"Lara Trump and I are delighted to welcome Carolina Dorothy Trump to this world, we already love you!" tweeted Eric Trump, the third son of the president.
The baby is the tenth grandchild of the 73-year-old American president, father of five children of three different women.
The first two children of his first marriage, Donald Junior and Ivanka, already have five and three children respectively, and Eric and Lara have one son.
Since the arrival of his father at the White House in January 2017, Eric Trump, along with his elder brother Donald Jr., runs the Trump Organization, the company that manages the Trump family's investments in the United States and abroad, ranging from real estate to hotels through golf clubs.
Lara Trump, 36, a former journalist, is very involved in animal welfare and manages with her husband the Eric Trump Foundation, which finances hospitals for children. She intervenes regularly on the TV sets to defend the politics of her father-in-law.
