The sought-after gold-colored Volvon was seen in the village of Malå municipality during the first days of August. Police have later confirmed that the car belongs to the 70-year-old who was found murdered in Markaryd on August 10. The same car has also been observed in the area where an 80-year-old man from Malå municipality has disappeared since the beginning of August.

A voting card with a link to the man in Markaryd's family has also been found, something that norran.se was the first to report.

Anita Östlund tells SVT that she found her voice card during a walk with the dog on August 6. That the name and address of a person in Markaryd made her react.

- It was a bit strange having a voting card from Markaryd here. I took a picture and posted it on Facebook mostly as a funny thing, ”she says.

After a few days, people started commenting on Anita's Facebook post, pointing out the connection to the murdered man.

- Then I looked up who it belonged to.

Anita had already thrown out her voting card but contacted the police.

- Now I have talked to the police and they have been here and looked at the find site.

SVT News seeks police for a comment.
