The woman and the two children who were badly injured in the serious violent crime in Eksjö on Thursday are feeling better and have been able to answer some questions, says Rickard Finndahl, head of the Grova crime in Höglandet.

- They feel good and get stronger every day. But things are going slowly, it will be long before they can tell exactly what happened, says Finndahl.

The three were initially treated for life-threatening injuries and were operated on urgently, since then they have been operated several times and more surgeries are waiting.

Unknown where they are

- We have decided to move them to another hospital, says Finndahl. We do not tell you where they are now being cared for. I also do not want to comment on why they were moved or if there is any threat with them.

The police have since on Thursday held several interrogations with the suspected man who is arrested for probable cause for attempted murder in three cases.

- He still denies the deed, says Finndahl. I do not want to go into the relationship between the man and the injured, but we believe it is the right person we have arrested. We do not believe that any other person has done the deed, if it may then be about the instigator or something else we do not know.

- The motive is unknown and we will hear from him again in the near future.

Drove injured to hospital

Finndahl also wants to highlight the police officers who were first at the crime scene on Thursday morning.

- They made an advisable intervention, including when they directly drove one of the injured people to a hospital in a police car.

The police have continued some technical investigation and they continue to knock.
