A total of 35 passengers on a plane from Mauritius have been assisted by polyconfusions and cuts by the medical services of the airport and the Samur after landing at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday after suffering an episode of turbulence during the flight. At least a dozen passengers have been transferred to Ramón y Cajal Hospital, La Paz Hospital and Sanchinarro Hospital. All those transferred suffered bruises, injuries and small cuts as a result of the sudden loss of height of the plane in a stretch of turbulence.

Witnesses point out that the plane has plummeted and that several people have suffered blows to the head and limbs while trying to protect themselves. Others have also been hit with objects. "We have been reborn. I thought the plane was crashing," said a young woman who was traveling in the back of the device that was attended by doctors from Samur-Civil Protection.

The plane of flight 838 suffered an unexpected loss of height but fortunately the pilots were able to redirect the flight. However, an emergency plan was activated in Barajas to attend to the bruised. Due to the large number of injured, Samur was alerted to treat several of the injured.

Aena sources indicated that the plane was not damaged and that it is a company that operates for Iberia. However, Iberia did not confirm this.
