A 20-year-old couple caught a cop in a scam for money and gifts.

On Monday, local newspapers, including ABC News, introduced the story of the Lang couple in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

At the end of last year, 24-year-old Casey and 27-year-old Jeffrey couples announced their pregnancy on SNS with ultrasound pictures. In addition to the celebrations of the family and acquaintances, we also held a "pregnancy party."

Then on July 3, the couple announced the birth of their son, Eastern Walt. This time, it was announced through SNS. Hours later, however, the couple delivered shocking news that their son died of respiratory distress syndrome.
Afterwards, the couple posted Eastern's story on the fund-raising site, GoFundMe, and began raising money. My son, who was born full of water in his lungs, unfortunately died shortly after, and he wants to help him pay for hospital and funeral expenses.

At first glance, their story seemed like a trial of a young couple who had had a sad accident, but it wasn't.

Casey's old friend, Cynthia, felt strange when she and her mother had hidden her health problems since her seventh month of pregnancy. When I heard that my son was dead and told me to go to the funeral, I noticed that he refused.
Not surprisingly, Casey's funeral room had no information called 'Eastern Lang'. There was no record of childbirth in the hospital and no information confirming death in the coroner's office.

Cynthia reported to the police and the investigation revealed that all of this was a couple's fraud. In particular, the 'fake baby doll' found in the couple's house was decisive.

The two couples who are now arrested are expected to be tried soon for fraud and embezzlement, and the Gofundme side has said it will return the donations to the couple.
