A girl in her teens reported at 11:30 pm the night before Monday that she had been assaulted and subjected to violence by an unknown perpetrator. The event took place in the Vasa school courtyard, in the middle of central Gävle.
The woman was taken care of on site by ambulance staff. The site was blocked off during the night and a technical examination was carried out during the morning.
The police have launched a preliminary investigation into attempted rape.
Landlord will be heard again during the day. According to the police, the woman has left a signal element on the perpetrator but at present there is no identified perpetrator.
