19 August 201915.30 The prosecutor's office of Vallo della Lucania (Salerno) opened an inquiry into the death of Simon Gautier, the 27-year-old French tourist, lost in Cilento, and whose body was recovered in a cliff after nine days of research. We wish to ascertain any responsibility for alleged delays in rescue operations, as reported by some friends of the young man. It was he himself, on August 9th, who called the office saying he had fallen.
