The mobile police station, working within the “Safe Neighborhood” initiative, launched by the Sharjah Police General Headquarters in Al Nahda yesterday, received a notification that a young child was at risk in a private closed-door vehicle in Al Nahda area. The units were able to remove the child from the vehicle and save his life, especially in light of the high temperatures and low oxygen inside the parked vehicle.

It turned out that the child was a national of an Asian country, and was left by his parents confined to the car when they left, without being aware of his presence in the car. With no immediate information on the location of his parents' residence, the patrol men rushed and worked professionally to get the child out of the vehicle.

Rescuers managed to remove the child from the vehicle in good health, and then contacted the child's guardian, and transferred to the mobile police station to complete the procedures with him.

The Sharjah Police called on individuals to pay attention and make sure that their children are not left behind in vehicles when they are stopped and departed, to ensure that they are not suffocated inside, which leads to death in most cases, especially in the summer.
