Russian plane makes a hard landing in Armenian Gyumri
The plane of the Russian airline Pobeda made a hard landing at the airport of the Armenian city of Gyumri. This was reported by the press service of the Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia.
“On August 19 at 21:04, while landing at the Shyrak Gyumri airport, the plane of the Pobeda airline touched the back of the runway,” the statement said.
As noted, as a result, the tail of the liner was damaged. Onboard were 173 passengers, no one was injured.
The department was informed that the reserve flight will carry out a further flight. A commission has been established to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
A previously owned Delta Airlines Boeing 757-200 damaged the fuselage during a hard landing in Ponta Delgada on the Azores.
