"Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will take part in a meeting of the UN Security Council on August 20 in New York, which will be devoted to issues of peaceful settlement and security in the Middle East," said US State Department spokesman Morgan Ortagus.
In addition, the US Secretary of State is also scheduled to meet with Serbian President Alexander Vučić.
Pompeo had previously discussed bilateral relations with the representative of China.
