We meet Pernilla and some other villagers on the main street of the town. In this community, the man who was arrested last Wednesday in Östersund has lived for several years.

- Last Wednesday there were a lot of police officers here too, says one man.

According to a close friend of the family, several policemen then entered the man's home.

- It was both police and dogs, she says.

In the home, then, the man's family will be located.

- Of course, they became very tough, says the friend.

Among other things, according to the friend, the police must have seized the wife's cellphone.

Lots of speculation

Since then, police have been to the resort several times. And among the villagers there are many questions and concerns.

- Of course, there will be a lot of speculation, says Pernilla.

Both her and others we meet feel some frustration, everyone wants to know more about what actually happened.

- I would like more facts, says Pernilla.

At present there are very few facts. Prosecutors and police are on record. At the same time, the man has a family and today when SVT Nyheter Jämtland was in their home town many people thought of the children.

- It is important that they are not allowed to bear any guilt in this, says Pernilla.

Footnote: SVT has chosen to omit the place name and full name of the interviewees, for the sake of the family and the villagers.
